    ON THE QUESTION OF THE LEGITIMACY OF PUNISHMENT BY GOVERNMENT.
    For the very best of reasons, there is NEVER legitimate punishment “by government.” We should remind ourselves that the only fair (just) and hence the only legitimate system of judicature known to humankind is that one defined by the pan-European People’s traditional common law, legem terræ, the Law of the Land. To appreciate why this is so, one considers first of all the following principle and criterion of justice.
